London; The UK Capital Thanks to Raymond Carruthers -  https://www.raymondcarruthers.com I had a long weekend break in London in July this year (2018) with one of my best friends to visit her sister. We stayed from the Friday to the Monday, travelling by virgin train from New Cumnock to London Euston which was a pretty decent journey both ways. Fortunately, we were able to stay with my friend’s sisters in her flat so that saved us some money on accommodation… all the more to spend at the markets etc. Our weekend was generally relaxed however we did manage to squeeze in a lot over the 4 days, including a day at Camden Market ,  a west end show , an art exhibition and a major tick on the bucket list; a day at Wimbledon ! Day at Wimbledon After years of watching the tournament on TV and saying ever year to my TV screen that I would love to be there it was a must! Sydney, Australia

Sydney, Australia This was a massive tick on the bucket list for me! Ever since I can remember I wanted to visit Australia to meet my cousins and see the wonderful city my family would always tell me about on the phone. We suffered turbulence for almost the whole flight from Sydney to Dubai, making this an extremely long journey. As if that wasn’t bad enough when arriving at Manchester I found out all trains were cancelled from Carlisle due to the severe weather conditions and I would be on a bus service from Carlisle back to G

" Twinkly lights of lower Manhattan and the FinancialDistrict from a cold and windy Brooklyn Bridge Park. " Thanks to Raymond Caruthers - Flickr "Awesome!” In a word, that is how I would describe my trip to  New York . From start to finish I was amazed by the sights, the food and the overall vibe the city had to offer. I visited New York for 6 days in May 2015 with one of my close friends. This was an ideal time to visit as the weather was reasonably good and there was not a great amount of tourists, meaning the queues for attractions were a lot less than expected. Madison Square Garden  - Lady Gaga Concert We had tried to cram in as much as possible during our time there but our scheduling wasn’t at its finest when booking our first event. We had planned to go to the Lady Gaga concert on the night we arrived not realising just how jet lagged we might be. After nearly falling asleep during the support act, we were able to enjoy
